Woodstock’s American Legion summer baseball team picked up its second win of the season Tuesday night, pasting Chester 21-10 on the road. This was quite a turn of events from the first game of the season when Chester beat up on Woodstock 10-0.
Brendan Mayhew was the hitting star for Woodstock with a pair of three-run home runs in the game. Brian Martin also had a three-run shot.
Five different Woodstock players had two hits in the contest – Mayhew, Martin, Jon Ferrero, Doug Avellino, and Griffin Thomas.
