Staff Report
WEST WINDSOR – State police are investigating a robbery at Orange Lake Resort at Mount Ascutney in which a safe with a large amount of cash was stolen.
According to investigators, there were no signs of obvious forced entry. Police also reported that the perpetrator apparently had a key to gain access to the building and office at Orange Lake. Along with the money, the safe also contained gift cards for Wal-Mart, Burger King and the Claremont, NH movie theater. Police did not disclose how much cash was taken, and it was unclear as of Wednesday morning whether there were any suspects in the case. Investigators could not be reached for further comment before the Standard’s deadline.
