STOCKBRIDGE—Funeral services for Jeffrey W. Hunt, 59, who died April 1, 2011 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., were held April 5 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. Rev. John Kuske officiated. Burial with military honors will be at a later date in Ranney Cemetery in Stockbridge.
He was born Feb. 21, 1952 in Randolph, the son of Mildred (Angwin) and Lucian C. Hunt Jr.
He graduated from Whitcomb High School in Bethel in 1971.
Mr. Hunt served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Labrador and Cheyenne, Wyo.
He married Marilyn Witt on Dec. 26, 1973 in Cheyenne.
He worked at Standard Pack-aging in BetheL for three years and at Vermont Castings for the past 32 years.
Mr. Hunt was a member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Berlin, Gray Camp in Barnard and Stockbridge Fire Department.
He enjoyed NASCAR and football.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; a sister, Janet Whitaker, all of Stockbridge; two daugh-ters, Rhonda Schumann of Stockbridge and Christine Dooley of Northampton, Mass.; a son, Travis Hunt of Georges Mills, N.H.; and five grandchil-dren.
He was predeceased by his father; and a sister, Judy Newell.
