The Woodstock Historical Society honored Betty Emmons with their year’s major fundraiser, dedicated to her in recognition of the many years she worked to establish the gardens and expand the society’s presence in Woodstock. The Friday evening reception featured pairings of historic fashions with floral arrangements. The arrangements were the creations of local floral artists, and Miranda Thomas and Simon Pearce donated the vases. A silent auction held throughout the evening for the floral arrangements and their vases raised additional funds for the Society. The weekend also featured gardens tours of seven gardens in and around Woodstock
