WINDSOR — A celebration of life for Donna H. Lloyd, 87, formerly of Ocala, Fla., and Sedona, AZ, who died June 29, 2011 at her home in Windsor, will be held Saturday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. at the First Universalist Church of Hartland Four Corners.
Mrs. Lloyd was born Aug. 18, 1923 in Kingsburg, CA, to John and Myra (Beaver) Huddleston.
Following high school she attended college in Pasadena, Calif., and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education.
Mrs. Lloyd was a social worker for Jefferson County, Colorado, and the state of California. Her later years were devoted to the study of philosophical history from which several books were produced.
She met David Lloyd while living in San Francisco and they were married June 8, 1957 in Reno, NV.
Survivors include two sons, Todd Lloyd and wife Jill of Hartland and Randy Lloyd of Reno, NV; and three grandchildren, Evan Lloyd of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bryce and Mallory Lloyd of Hartland.
She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; and all 11 brothers and sisters.
