The community of Woodstock and neighboring towns will celebrate their resiliency and give a big musical “thank you” to all the rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who did so much. Musicians and actors from near and far will gather in Town Hall, sharing their talents in a free concert to celebrate the Woodstock-area community and to raise money to assist our neediest families. Pentangle Arts Council is donating its artistic, promotional, financial and production resources to the concert. Max Comins, of recent Music Man acclaim, will act as master of ceremonies. The program will feature top jazz talents such as Fred Haas and Sabrina Brown. The Almost Legendary Thundering Muskrats, the SpeakChorus under the direction of Harriet Worrell, the Woodstock Elementary School chorus, and many other outstanding performers are scheduled to appear. And a possible surprise guest may be announced soon.
