Spots of autumnal beauty were popping up all over local towns last weekend, as the colors of fall showed up in places that had, about a month ago, been deluged by waters from Tropical Storm Irene. Trees in Hartland, West Windsor, Woodstock and Pomfret glowed with orange, red and yellow.
