Brownsville Bounces Back – Pig Roast
The Brownsville General Store played host to “Brownsville Bounces Back” a Pig Roast and Community Pot Luck. Win Johnson, Elvin Kaplan and Arthur Steinberg organized the event as a way to get the community together for an afternoon of good food, music and a little fundraising, According to Johnson about 6-12 families in West Windsor have been displaced by the aftermath of Tropical Storm Irene. Hosting the Pig Roast was a way to let folks know that there is Disaster Fund available in town to help victims of Irene.
