Ranuf Ueland Obituary

The family is planning a private gathering for Ranulf Ueland, who passed away peacefully on September 26, 2011 at the age of 79.
Ranulf was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Constance Puffer and Torvald Ueland. Known as “Ran” or “Rannie,” he attended school in Middletown, New Jersey, the Gunnery School in Washington, Connecticut and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
He served as a Gunners Mate in the United States Coast Guard from 1952-1955.
Ran moved his family to Woodstock in 1966 and there he owned several businesses, including Shiretown Lumber Yard, The Shire Apothecary and Ueland & Associates Real Estate.
He is survived by his three children, Jeanne, Christopher, and Steven and six grandchildren Victoria, Marley, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Emma and Finley.

To Randy’s family
We were so sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. I worked with him at Shiretown and at Shire Apothecary. He was a great person and he will be missed.
