WEST HARTFORD — A graveside service for Brian D. Wallace, 29, who died Nov. 28, 2011 from complications following a recent illness, will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. in the West Hartford Cemetery.
Brian was born July 3, 1982 in Hanover, N.H.
He graduated from Hartford High School Class of 2000 and has worked as a chef in area restaurants for many years.
Flooding from Hurricane Irene devastated Brian’s home in West Hartford. He was able to save his young daughter from the floodwaters, but lost almost everything else. He, with the help of family and friends, had been working tirelessly to restore his home so he could bring his daughter home again.
Brian enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing, especially trips to Hampton, N.H. to go deep-sea fishing. He loved his family and his many friends most of all, his daughter.
His family will miss his quick smile and great sense of humor, and will continue to love him forever.
He is survived by his daughter, Trinity Lynn Wallace; his father, Daniel Wallace of West Hartford; his mother, Kimberly Southworth and stepfather, Robert Southworth of West Fairlee; his brothers, Christopher Wallace and his wife, Alison of Hartford and Jeffrey Wallace and his Fiancé, Shaina Nutting of Norwich; his maternal grandparents, Rodney and Joyce Facteau of Lyndonville; his paternal grandmother, Lillian Wallace of New York; stepbrother, Chad Southworth; stepsisters, Mindy Southworth and Lacie Austin; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to assist with flood victims to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 749 Hartford Ave., White River Jct., 05001 or Cover Home Repair, 158 South Main St., White River Junction, 05001.
