Joyce had a passion for skiing and was an avid skier. She was a ski instructor at Pinnacle Ski Area in Randolph VT, and she also enjoyed Cross Country Skiing. Joyce loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening and landscaping around the family home. The family Lake House was where she enjoyed the outdoor activities of the summer months and in her later years it is where she found her peace.
