Having A Ball
A longstanding tradition, the Woodstock Fireman’s Ball was held at the Woodstock Country Club last Saturday night. The Ball, a chance for residents to thank those fire personnel who risk life and limb to help in emergencies, is open to the public. The Woodstock Fire Relief Association collected donations for the night. Tom Emery, John Kamb, Kent McFarland and Mike Willis were recognized for 10 years of service, and Phil Swanson was honored for 25 years of service. Perry Maxam, who did not attend the ball, was honored later for 45 years of service to the Fire Department.
