LEE, Mass.— A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Linda L. Kendall, 49, died Sunday January 15, 2012 at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Linda was born on September 8, 1962 in Rutland, Vermont, the daughter of Alan G. and Jane (Lewis) Kendall.
Linda received her bachelors’ degree in Social Work from Cornell University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo (NY). She was a New York Certified Social Worker and was most recently employed at Spectrum Human Services in Buffalo, NY.
In 1994 Linda’s battle with Huntington’s Disease prevented her from working and after seeking medical attention in a number of places she eventually moved to the Laurel Lake Center in Lee, Massachusetts where she spent the last five years of her life.
Linda is survived by her mother, Jane of Woodstock; her sister Kathy Kendall of Georgetown, MA; her brother Roderick Kendall of Shortsville, NY; stepsiblings Donald Kendall of Houston, TX, Julie Kendall Oberstoetter of Lon-don England, and Jeffrey Kendall of Chicago, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Alan; and her Stepfather Donald.
