BRIDGEWATER CORNERS — A celebration of life will be determined at a later date for John Douglas “Jack” Miner, 77, who died Jan. 31, 2012.
He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Rumford, Maine, the son of Reignold and Rosalie Miner.
He graduated from the Norfolk (Mass.) Agricultural School and then joined the U.S. Air Force where he was trained as a jet mechanic.
Mr. Miner later worked for Pratt and Whitney, and then attended the Bible Institute of N.E., where he was ordained a minister.
Survivors include four children, John D. Miner Jr., Marianne O’Brien, Tammy Mezzadri and Nancy Moore; eight grandchildren’ and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, and two sisters, Reignold Miner Jr., Neil Miner, James Miner, June Miner and Barbara Young.
Jack’s children would like to acknowledge The Helping Neighbors of Vermont for their love and support, and a special thanks to Kevin and Maureen Danforth, for their love and 24-hour care of Jack during his last few months of life.
