WINDSOR — A funeral service for Sarah Louise Andrews, 77, who died March 11, 2012 at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor will be held in the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Windsor on Tuesday March 20 at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Hartland cemetery at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
Sarah was born June 22, 1934 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Martin L. and Grace (Tyler) Andrews.
She was educated in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She lived in Japan for two years with her parents and in 1980 she settled in Hartland, Vermont.
She was a member of the Trinity Church in Windsor and was on the steering committee for the Stoughton House. Sarah was a great volunteer who loved spending time with many friends and really enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Jay Tyler Holmes of Louisville, CO and his children Cortney and Katelyn, her daughter, Sharon Holmes Shepard of Hartland, VT, and her children Susan, Sarah, and Sophie.
She was predeceased by a brother Edwin A. Cooke.
Memorial donations may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society.

Sarah was a very sweet lady. I am sad at her passing. I met her at Stoughton House in 2002 and we became best of friends. I am sorry for her families pain. The world has lost a wonderful spirit. I Love You Sarah… RIP.
