Woodstock Man Dead, State Police Investigating

On March 6, 2012 at approximately 1:15PM, the Vermont State Police in Royalton received a call from emergency medical responders with the Woodstock Ambulance regarding an untimely death on Dailey Hollow Road in Bridgewater, VT.
Detectives with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations responded to the scene and verified that Calvin Dana, age 18 of Woodstock, VT was deceased. Through the course of the investigation detectives learned that Dana spent the night at a friend’s house on Dailey Hollow Road, after a night of partying. On the following day, the friend found Dana unconscious and not breathing.
The Windsor County State’s Attorney was notified. The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
Dana’s death does not appear suspicious, however the investigation is on-going, pending the results of the autopsy. For media questions, please contact Public Information Officer Stephanie Dasaro at 802-279-9773.
