The Reading Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday at Bartley Field in Reading VT. According to Kevin Barnes, Chair of the Reading Friends and Neighbors over 1025 candy filled eggs we “hidden” around the field for the children to find. 56 area children signed up for the hunt and each child was allowed to collect 19 eggs. Six eggs were special, containing a number to be exchanged for a big prize or Easter Basket. Peter Cottontail made an appearance and posed for photos and handed out candy to all the children.
