Killington residents voted Monday night to keep the form of town government as it is.
In a paper vote of 238-81, voters choose to retain Seth Webb as Town Manager, with the other option involving the town’s three selectmen, treasurer and constable stepping up to run the show.
The vote was spurred by a petition filed by resident Melvin B. Neisner, and the ballot item asked, “Will the town vote to take advantage of the provisions of chapter 37 of Title 24 of the Vermont Statutes Annotated and authorize the selectmen to employ a town manager?”
