Real estate broker John Snyder told the Standard this afternoon that at this point in time, there are no plans and no buyers for the Barnard General Store. Snyder is the broker handling the store, which closed its doors May 8.
“While there have been discussions with a potential buying group, those discussions are no longer ongoing,” Snyder said.
Snyder said that he is planning to meet with a group of community members over the weekend to discuss options for buying and reopening the Barnard General Store.
