Postal Service Unveils New Plans to Reduce Hours

The United States Postal Service Wednesday announced that they have decided to forgo the plans to close thousands of rural post offices and instead have created a plan to reduce hours at many smaller offices.

The Taftsville Post Office, just one of about 40 in the Upper Valley that may see shortened hours, is facing a proposed reduction from 8 hours to 4 hours.
