A two-car accident in Hartland led to the arrest of Amber S. Kullgren Alburgh, Vermont over the weekend.
Police received a call Saturday at 6 p.m. from a driver who said their car was struck from behind and that the driver had sped off. They were able to provide a license number to the police and followed the car until the driver pulled over.
Kullgren said that she may have fallen asleep at the wheel and then panicked after realizing she hit someone.
Kullgren was found to have a active warrant for her arrest out of Chittenden Country for furnishing alcohol to a minor. She and her one-year-old child were transported to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department where she posted $100.00 cash bail. She also was also issued traffic tickets for operating without a license and failing to maintain marked lanes of travel.
