PLANDOME, N.Y. —Services were held for Barbara Hedgecock Hagan who passed away peacefully on June 3, 2012 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with her beloved husband of 60 years, James, by her side and surrounded by her five children.
She was a resident of Plandome, N.Y., but had had a home in Woodstock since 1969.
Barbara is survived by her husband, James; five children, James Jr. of Bridgewater, N.J., Kevin of Cole Spring Harbor, N.Y., Elizabeth Schellhorn of Woodstock, Mark of Sea Cliff, N.Y. and David of Woodstock, Conn.; three wonderful daughters-in-law; one great-son-in-law; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

I am so saddened to learn of Barby’s passing. I have had her and the Hagan/Hedgecock family in my mind so often in the past several years.
Many attempts to find Barby or Jim have failed until today when I put James J and Barbara Hagan into Google. I just couldn’t believe my eyes….. my sincerest sympathies to all of you. The last time I saw Barby was at “Uncle Umpy’s” funeral. I would love to connect with Jim so please let me know how and where you are. Fondly, Kathy
