History in Bloom: Garden Tour, More

History in Bloom — a combination garden tour, reception, silent auction, exhibit and book event — kicks off June 29, from 6-8 p.m., with wine and hors d’oeuvres at the Dana House Museum. This special evening will feature live music, a meet-and-greet/book signing with authors and gardening experts Charlie Nardozzi and Henry Homeyer, and a preview of a special museum exhibit that features historic fashion, art and floral arrangements. On June 30, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., there will be a garden tour featuring five exquisite area gardens as well as a special museum exhibit. Participants will receive a full-color guide booklet and have a chance to participate in a silent auction for floral arrangements (some of which are in hand-crafted vases made by local crafts people). To purchase tickets, call 457-1822 or go to www.woodstockhistorical.org.
