Honeybee Narrative
Lizzie Bogosian and Patrick Sullivan, both of Barnard, began over the winter what they call the Honeybee Narrative, an attempt to begin a strong and significant apiary as part of the Clark Farm Cooperative of Barnard. Bogosian and Sullivan sold hive “shares” to investors willing to support the project in exchange for future honey, workshops and educational opportunities. They now have 26 hives containing over 30,000 bees in what is called the Via Apia Apiary (The Way of the Honeybee.) Follow their blog http://honeybeenarrative.wordpress.com.
