My husband Dick and I visited Tom and Helen in Punte del Este, Uruguay years ago and knew them while they lived in Ipswich. I have also known his wife, Ellen, as a gallery instructor at the MFA and as one of the founding members of the book group in Boston.
I was saddened to read of his passing. He lived a very full life.
