A ribbon cutting ceremony to planned to celebrate the re-opening of the Bowers Covered Bridge on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m.
In August of last year, the small bridge was knocked off its foundation by Tropical Storm Irene. New framing for the bridge was completed by late March.
