I am one of Michael's daughters and would like to say it is wonderful to see everyone's kind words and stories about my father. I would also like to tell everyone that it is is the familie's intention to submit a memorial page to the paper as soon as possible and we will try to inform as many people as possible so everyone will know when to look for it and be able to read it. Please feel free to send me an email if you would like to be contacted. aandjdusik@hotmail.com. He had so many loved ones and had such a full life that we feel needs to be recognized and shared along with some corrections that need to be made. I am sorry for each and every persons loss. He was a wonderful ,loving, and vibrant person. Anyone who had the gift of knowing him already knows he had a larger than life personality and a contagious smile. He was the best dad in the world and I along with everyone else miss him greatly.

It was just about this time last year when Mike kindly helped me after I backed my vehicle onto a large rock while looking for my lost dog. He drove me home and arranged for a flatbed to rescue my van. I'm so sorry about his accident and offer my sincerest condolences to Mike's family.

It's been thirty years since high school, but it's apparent the time didn't change Mike. A bright smile to pick you up when he knew you were down, willing to help out whenever he saw a need, a quick and easy laugh to remind you what a great time this moment is. He has always been a good man, and will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of working with, and becoming friends with, Mike at a nightclub in Killington. He was a big, imposing presence at the door but a kind, gentle and caring man to his friends and to the visitors to Vermont. I will always remember how funny he was and how his goofy laugh would get the entire staff laughing over the silliest things. Such a good man who left us too soon. Rest in Peace Big Mike!
