Thomas Christensen, Superintendent of the Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union, has announced his resignation, citing ‘unexpected family emergencies.’ Christensen plans to return to his hometown area; he has completed one year of his two-year contract with WSSU.

The supervisory board will begin a search for an interim superintendent to begin school in August, in addition to a search for a permanent superintendent for the 2013-2014 school year.

Christensen’s last day will be August 17.
