Power is out for close to 4,000 homes in the Woodstock area due to failed equipment in a local substation, according to a Green Mountain Power official.
The electric company is replacing an insulator in the substation.and power should be restored by 11 p.m., Green Mountain Power’s Jeremy Baker said.
