WINDSOR — A graveside service for Theodore L. Teeter, 69, who died July 6 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital will be held on Aug. 25 at 1 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Norwich with Pastor Richard Hodge officiating.
He was born in Hanover, N.H. on July 1, 1943, a son of Walter and Alma (Powers) Teeter.
He spent a lot of time outside, enjoying nature and exploring old Norwich cemeteries. He had an interest in collecting, buying and selling antiques. He liked to visit with his family and friends.
He ran his own painting service for several years until his health started to fail.
He will forever be missed and remembered by his children, family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Theodore Teeter of Whiter River Jct.; a daughter, Szorcsha Sutherland of Williamstown; two brothers, Richard of Bradford and Robert of Bridgewater; five sisters, Jacqueline Teeter-Durkee of Bridgewater, Nancy Harrington of Roxbury, Elizabeth Leonard of Royalston, Mass., Catherine McKinney of Hartland and Patricia Parker of Vershire; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 13 nieces and 13 nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Alvin; a sister, Janet Brown; one nephew; and three nieces.
