Vermont Participates in NHTSA “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Campaign

From Woodstock’s Police Department:

Law enforcement agencies throughout the state are participating in an intensive cooperative enforcement effort to combat impaired driving during the period of: Thursday, August 16th through Monday, September 3rd. These efforts are supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and are part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” national campaign.  In addition, the Vermont State Police’s Operation Combined Accident Reduction Enforcement (C.A.R.E.) will also be adding to enforcement efforts during the Labor Day weekend, beginning on August 31st through September 3rd.
