WEATHERSFIELD — George Perry Elliott, 81, died Aug. 27. He was born March 24, 1931 in Sharon, Conn., the son of Thomas and Helen Elliott.
He graduated in 1951 from the New York School for the Deaf.
Mr. Elliott worked at IBM for over 35 years and served as a town constable in Dover Plains, N.Y., where he was a member of J.H. Ketcham Hose Company.
Married from 1956 to 1981, he and his wife raised four children who survive him; other survivors include four grandchildren; a nephew; and his companion Ann.
He enjoyed fishing, model trains, trips to Maine, and was a member of Chester Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Elliott was predeceased by two siblings, William and Jane.
