BarnArts Center for the Arts’ staging of Eleemosynary took place last weekend in the barn at the King Farm as part of Sculpture Fest 2012 Opening Weekend. The small hay barn was taller than it was wide, and the audience sat on chairs and hay bales. The one-act play, written by Lee Blessing, envolved three generations of women sorting out motherhood, love, loyalty and abandonment. Local thespians Janet Eller, Darby Hiebert and Mairin Keleher filled out the cast, with Alina Bloomgarden directing.
