There will be a private graveside service held in Bridgewater for Diane Lee Blanchard (Rogers-Maxfield), 68, who died at Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor on Oct. 3, following a long battle with breast cancer.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1944, in Rutland.
She graduated with an Associates Degree in Human Services from CCV. 

Diane is survived by her sister, Erlene Rogers of Wood-stock, and brother Erwin Rogers of Woodstock; her children Lisa Caron and husband Bruce of Holly Springs, N.C., and Courtney Blanchard of Ludlow, MJ Maxfield of Albuquerque, N.M., Edward Maxfield and wife Barbara of Syracuse, N.Y., Jean Stetson and husband Ron of Scottsdale, AZ.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in her name in lieu of flowers and sent to the Thompson Senior Center, One Senior Ln, Woodstock, VT, 05091.
