At a one-woman show at Thompson Senior Center in Woodstock yesterday, actress Elena Dodd portrayed Eleanor Roosevelt — on her birthday, Oct. 11 — in a show sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council Speakers Bureau.
The performance, which portrays Mrs. Roosevelt speaking about her experiences as wife, mother and first lady, is one of four that have been researched by Dodd and Josephine Lane.
