The Vermont Standard Fall Photo contest began last week, and there have already been some great submissions. The first week’s winner was Greg Greene of Pomfret, whose spectacular view of Labounty Road in Pomfret caught our eye.

You still have time to enter. Send us photos of autumn scenes, identifying where the photo is, your name and the town where you’re from. We will pick weekly winner who will receive free e-editions of the The Vermont Standard. those winner will become eligible to win the grand prize.
That grand prize winning photo will be announced in the Nov. 1 edition of the Standard and that winner will receive dinner for two at a local dining establishment.
