RANDOLPH — Memorial services for Marshall J. Bonney, 78, who died unexpectedly Sat-urday, Oct. 13 was held Oct. 17 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Randolph. Rev. Mark Preece officiated.
He was born July 24, 1934 in Newton, MA, the son of Elwyn and Claire (Johnson) Bonney.
Marshall attended Norwood, MA schools.
He was married to Barbara Booth on Jan. 19, 1953 in New-ton, MA. The Bonneys moved to Randolph Center in 1980 and later moved to their home on Belle Fred Dr. in 2006.
Marshall had worked as both a commercial and residential ap-pliance repairman for many years.
He attended St. John’s Episco-pal Church and was a past mem-ber of Randolph Rotary. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed read-ing, animals and watching west-ern movies. He was very artistic and liked creating things out of nothing.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Bonney of Randolph; a daughter, Barbara Lee Bonney and her husband, Jim Northrop of South Royalton; a son, Marshall J. Bonney, Jr. and his wife Debra of Needham, MA; three grand-children; and two great-grandchildren.
