The roof on the stone house at the Gerrish property in Woodstock caved in weeks ago. Owners of the property say cleanup is coming soon.

My husband had an apartment in this building in 1983, when we met. I have watched the roof deteriorate over the years and had hoped the building would be saved. Does anyone know the history of the building, when it was built and by who?
