A committee formed at Woodstock Elementary School has received detailed plans from architect Jack Rossi of what they call a “Learning Landscape Project,” a plan that encompasses the three-acre area including and surrounding the school.
The plans include improving the safety of the area, promoting imaginative play, and improving school grounds so that they incorporate the natural environment.
Plans are being made for the project, which would be privately funded, to go to bids for construction. For more on the story, see this week’s Vermont Standard.
