The AP is reporting several glitches in the voting system at polling places around the country this afternoon. A voter in Pennsylvania reported that their voting machine malfunctioned and would highlight Mitt Romney’s name when the voter had touched the button that said “Barack Obama.” In Virginia, long lines deterred some voters and they ended up leaving. In Indiana, some voters were turned away from the poll because a misprint determined that they’d already voted by absentee ballot. In Florida’s Palm Beach County, a ballot-counting machine malfunctioned, and voters had to wait an hour to make sure their vote was received.
