Police have confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck in yesterday’s fatal accident on Route 4 in Killington was Marland Brewer, 47, of Starksboro Vermont.
The driver of the box truck involved in the accident, Earl Smith of Loudon, NH, suffered a fractured wrist, a concussion and a dislocated hip.
Police say that alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash. Additionally, an investigation is being made into the possibility of Brewer’s involvement in a hit and run accident earlier in the day in Bristol.
