Channel 31 News was in the parking lot of Woodstock Home and Hardware, filming a segment on the Green Mountain Sandy Irene Relief Team, who is organizing help for victims of Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey. The group is filling a tractor-trailer truck, which will be driven down on Sunday, after collecting furniture, space heaters, baby supplies, Christmas ornaments, and almost anything except clothing. Lukana’s Dream Company in Bethel is helping to organize the effort. Here, a reporter from the station interviews Laurel and Rick Tobiason, who have been instrumental in the project, in front of the trailer.
