Killington Store Burglarized

Vermont State Police responded to a report of a shoplifting attempt Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Killington Market at 2023 Killington Road.
The accused, Greg Duguid, who is listed as “transient” in police records, was recognized by police as a suspects in other recent cases in Killington. A subsequent investigation identified Duguid as the suspect in a burglary at Base Camp Outfitters on the evening of Dec. 22 and a second incident on Dec. 23. The owner of the owner of the store provided photographs of the burglary in progress to the police and the Killington Constable. The owner also identified some of Duguid’s clothing as items that were missing from the store.
Duguid is being held at Marble Valley Correctional Center for lack of $75,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, Dec. 26.
