SOUTH ROYALTON — Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 29 at the Green Mountain Gospel Chapel in Randolph for Linda L. Small, 47, who died early Dec. 20 at her home, after a long illness. Rev. Ronald E. Rilling, will officiate. There are no calling hours.

She was born April 13, 1965 in Landstuhl, Germany; the daughter of Frederick and Joyce (Manning) Small.

She was raised in Texas and Ohio before coming to Vermont in 1971, where she had lived in Randolph, Williamstown, and South Royalton before moving to South Randolph.

Linda was married to Steven Small in Randolph on May 4, 1991.

She had assisted with the Elf Program at East Randolph School and Randolph Center Elementary School, and had been secretary for the Hackett Fund. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and working with children.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Small of South Randolph; mother, Joyce Small of Williamstown; sons, Jeffrey Small and his wife, Viola of Randolph, Dan Small and Ethan Small both of South Randolph; brother, Rod Small, Sr. of Sharon; sisters, Robin Lynch of West Fairlee, Bonnie Barnett of Barre, and Barbara Allen of Graniteville; six grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Cenceal Joyce Small.
