The Wassail Parade made its way down Central Street on Saturday. The annual tradition brought in an estimated 2,500 people, according to the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. The Wassail parade thrilled families with horse-drawn carriages and carts as well as horses and riders dressed in period costumes for the event.
One of the traditions of Woodstock’s Wassail Weekend is the lighting of the Yule Log with caroling on the Green.
