BRIDGEWATER CENTER — A graveside service for Reginald L. Hoisington, 71, who died Dec. 3 at his home, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Baker Hill Cemetery in Bridgewater Center. There will be no calling hours.
Reggie was born on July 21, 1941 in Bridgewater, the son of Ralph and Hazel (Sloan) Hoisington.
Reggie married Helen L. Colby on May 15, 1969.
He worked for a short time at the Bridgewater Woolen Mill and then 28 years for the Woodstock Inn and Resort.
He enjoyed flowers and flower gardens. He loved his cats, but most of all his grandchildren. The family is thankful for the care given to Reggie by Jason Walker.
He is survived by a daughter Lisa Linton of West Woodstock, a son Anthony Hoisington of Bridgewater Center, a son Ralph Townsend of Hartland, and daughter, Andrea McNeill of Argyle, New York, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister Norma Plumber of Bradford, an Aunt Helen Howe and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased two sisters Merilyn Wood and Verna Gay and a brother Edwin.
Memorial donations may be made to The Bridgewater Fire Department or the Bridgewater Fast Squad, P.O. Box 212 Bridgewater, Vermont 05034.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock.
