Weather Knocking Out Power In Surrounding Towns

Adverse weather conditions has felled trees and caused outages around the region, but not so much in the Woodstock area Friday.

Green Mountain Power is reporting more than 1,000 outages in Rutland and about 1,900 in Windsor.

In the Standard area, 54 GMP customers in Barnard and 33 in Hartland are without power.

High winds and heavy rain have knocked down wires, according to reports.

The National Weather Service is predicting rain, turning into snow showers overnight, along with gusty winds.
