A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Friday for Windsor County and all of central and southern Vermont. Heavy snow — from 8 to 14 inches — is expected, beginning this evening. Snow is expected to become heavy at times in the early hours of Thursday morning. Travel will be impacted as temperatures will be in the low 20s and highs in the lower 30s.
