2012: No Vermont Hunting Deaths Or Injuries

For the first time in forty years, according to the Vermont’s Department of Fish and Wildlife, Vermont and New Hampshire hunters had a year with no deaths and no injuries.
The department also noted a high deer and bear harvest in 2012, with 1,365 birds and 621 bears killed.
