SPRINGFIELD, PA. — A Mass was held Jan. 27 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton, Penn. for Beverly P. Oliver (nee Pearsons), age 75, of Glen Mills, Penn, formerly of Springfield, Penn, who died on Jan. 23. Interment was at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Penn 19064.
Born in Hanover, N.H., Aug. 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Carrold and Emily Pearsons (nee Pember).
She graduated fromWoodstock High School in Woodstock, and Becker College, in Worcester, Mass.
Beverly married her loving husband, Joseph, on Sept. 7, 1957. She raised six sons. In 1971, she co-founded Oliver Heating & Cooling with her husband, Joseph. She enjoyed traveling with family and spending time with her grandchildren. Beverly had a passion for music, played the trombone in the high school band, and represented her school in the statewide chorus. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and led the music ministry at the prayer group there for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Deacon Joseph M. Oliver and sons: Thomas (Maureen), Reverend James, David (Theresa), Robert (Amy), John and William (Alecia) Oliver; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Karl (Katherine) Pearsons of California and many nieces and nephews.
